tlc's Random Life

  I have sat down and read the organizing book and have really been trying to come up with the next post in that series.  I have a problem.  I cannot find it in my heart to write about organizing.  That isn't me.  I am not a super organized person and to be dreadfully honest I probably never will be.  I want to just write.  Like before, I just want to write what comes to mind when it comes to mind.  I don't know what made me think that I could right about one subject over and over and over.  Everything about me and my life is random, crazy, busy and a bit chaotic.  But I am happy living this life.  I have a fabulous family and so many great friends and life is good.  I'm not saying I am stopping the book about organizing.  I'm not.  I am still gonna work my way through it and I still hope that Jody will still meet for lunch once a week or come to the house so we can discuss the section of the book we are on at th...

Well here we are 21 days into this new year and I am still waiting for things to get back to before holiday normal.  It isn't there yet.  That would be mostly because I had to switch my schedule around at work and have started working nights again after 2 years.  It is taking me a bit of time to try to adjust.  I promise I will get back on some kind of schedule and get the organizing posts coming again soon.  Until then hang in there.  I will be posting some other posts soon as we have had lots of stuff going on in our lives. I can not believe how quickly the years pass now that I am inching ever so close to 40.  Some people say "wow I dont know where the year went"  but crazy as it sounds I do know.   It really seems like yesterday Stephen and I were hanging out with some friends waiting to ring in 2013.  And here it is January 1, 2014.  It flat flew by.  At first thought I could think I don't know what happened to the time.  But given a few minutes to ponder it all I remember well what all happened (Stephen always gives me 9 kinds of crap about posting on Facebook or instagram but when looking back they help me remember all the fun we had).  We did some pretty great things in 2013.  We got to travel out of the country for the first time (to 3 different countries), made some new friends, sadly lost touch with some dear friends & got back in touch with some old ones.  Val got her drivers license and Britt started her first year of high school.
