Me & chuck(s)

So I mentioned in a post or so ago that I have started wearing "Chucks"  I had bought them for Val she didn't like this pair and wanted new ones (she is spoiled and nearly always gets what she wants)  Anyway this was a perfectly good pair of shoes laying around collecting dust.  I tried them on, they fit so I started wearing them.  Let me just say they are almost as good as going barefooted and I LOVE them.  I like the look and how awesome they feel on my feet.  While cleaning up the photo storage on my phone I noticed that they seem to be popping up in a lot of my pictures.  So I thought I would share what "Chuck(s) and I have been up to this past week  :) We went to watch Britt play softball, she did great and we had the best seat in the place.  Val and her "Chuck(s)" sat next to us and cheered for Miss Brittnie and the Lady Pirates to a 15-0 win!  WOOHOO! This is us kicking back having a beverage (red solo cup no less) at the lake in a fun l

My week in pictures

April 9th through 13th really so I don't know if you can call it a real "week" but it sure felt like I done enough stuff that it qualified as a whole week.  Have a look at the crazy things going on in my life right now :) The perfume I have been wanting...Stephen bought it for me.  It was waiting on the kitchen table when I came home from work. Monday night.  It smells great and I love it S'mores pops anyone?  That's right s'more pops, I posted about these the other day when I made them.  They came together so fast and my girls just loved them.  Like I said there is a post that tells all about them.  You should make some for your family, you will be a hero  :) Stephen and I have been on a high protein low calorie diet for a month now and we have been cutting a bunch of foods from our life and eating much more healthy...with that said I have to admit that the other day I had a crazy urge for bacon.  I never really ate a lot of bacon before so I was

Super easy snack

I look at pinterest a lot.  It's no secret.  But I have several blogs that I read daily.  With that said I honestly can not remember where I seen this snack.  I never even read how they did it but I was sure I could figure it out.  S'more pops This is what I did: 1st put your marshmallows on little sticks (I found mine in the veggie section @ walmart) 2nd melt chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth 3rd crush gram crackers until they are pretty fine. Then you just dip your marshmallow (I more like rolled mine) in the melted chocolate. And then roll them through the gram cracker Set them sticks up on some foil or a plate until they cool a bit (if the kids can wait that long)  and serve. I got lots of praise.  My girls (and Stephen) loved them Try it and let me know how big a hit they are. Have a great week!

Let's catch up :)

It's been a couple of weeks, boy has it been nuts.  My work week back from spring break wasn't the greatest and it had me pretty stressed...crazy work, family issues that somehow always pop up, but I got this bubble wrap out of a shipment at work and played with it a bit and when I got off work found that Stephen was going to grill for us (i love this time of year) found this picture and it make me think of Stephen standing out at the grill :)  So maybe I just let the stress get to me too easily because by the time I got home there was no stress at all (a husband that takes care of dinner helps alot though)    Got to spend some time with Miss Kashly, she always wants to come out to the house ,this makes my heart happy because I remember Nanny and Mikey's house being where I always wanted to be because it was so much fun (they spoiled me as I do her) and she loves all the animals we have.  Britt lets her ride (sit on while we lead) Ladybug and she loves to "pick egg
